History
Valley Mobile Skin & Wound Specialists was established in 1997 by a group of physicians who advocated for a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to treating patients with chronic wounds. They recognized that traditional wound care methods were inadequate and frequently led to disjointed care.
As a result, the physicians were motivated to create a comprehensive wound healing center that offered the coordinated care and services necessary to treat and support patients with non-healing wounds in one accessible location. By integrating care across various medical and surgical specialties, they demonstrated their ability to enhance healing times, reduce complications, and lower amputation rates.
This innovative concept has led to the establishment of Valley Mobile Skin & Wound Specialists as a leader in developing and managing comprehensive wound healing centers. In 2019, Valley Mobile Skin & Wound Specialists began providing advanced wound care to patients in the comfort of their homes. As a contracted specialty provider, we offer a continuum of care model that serves all individuals covered by a managed care plan who are dealing with acute and chronic wounds.
